Around second century the Greek Physician described patient who got passing out lots of Urine (Polyuria) termed Siphon (Greek Word) also called Diabetes. In Modern Science Doctors also termed it as a Diabetes Mellitus. Diabetes Mellitus is a Metabolic disease in the Human Body, in that case body is not able to produce enough insulin. Insulin is a Hormone generated by certain cells in Pancreas (Organ next to Stomach called Mid- Abdomen)The insulin transports the Blood Sugar and Glucose from Blood stream to Body cells. If insulin is not generated properly by Pancreas you could be the victim of Diabetes.

What is Insulin ?
Insulin is a hormone produced by some cells in Pancreas, it absorbs Glucose from Blood and moves to Body cells. According to Genetic Engineering Insulin is a Protein which comes from Pancreas.Insulin is found in animals too but its not identical in all animals. Pig has the same insulin as human.

When Insulin is not enough in your body it can not transport blood sugar in to body cells so Blood Sugar stay in the Blood Storm and the result occurs Hyperglycemia. When sugar level is high in the body it leads to Hyperglycemia and it is the root cause of Diabetes.
